Getting your little one school ready Dorking

A relaxed session led by Education Consultant Sandra Peers to learn how to get your little one ‘school ready’ whilst meeting other local mums over a cuppa and nibbles. Peekaboo Play Cafe will be set up for your little ones to go off and play during the session and food/beverages are available to purchase.

This workshop is ideal for parents looking to find out the things you can be doing to prepare your child for school and what the curriculum expectations will be. There are so many little things you can be doing in preparation for their start to school which will make a world of difference to them.

-What will my little one be expected to be able to do when they start school?

-What activities can I do to support my child at home in preparation for starting school? 

-How do I build focus & attention skills?  

-How do I encourage independence & resilience?
